Dr. Fadlilatul Taufany is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of Research and Community Services at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia. A respected researcher and innovation leader, his work focuses on renewable energy and sustainable technologies that support the transition toward net-zero emissions.
His research spans hydrogen fuel cells, solar energy, and bioethanol production, with notable contributions in advanced fuel cell materials, bio-inspired engineering designs, and innovative bioethanol purification processes. His work has attracted industry collaboration, including projects with Indonesia's national energy company, Pertamina, to support cleaner energy solutions.
Dr. Taufany also leads international research collaborations with leading institutions across Asia, Australia, and the United Kingdom, including NTU Singapore, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, the University of Melbourne, and Cranfield University. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and has led numerous government and industry-funded research initiatives while publishing extensively in leading international journals.
