The Energy for Society: 1st International Conference on Energy Research and Social Science was held in April 2017, in Sitges, Spain. The conference was chaired by Benjamin K. Sovacool, from University of Sussex, UK and Scott Valentine, formerly at National University of Singapore, Singapore.
ERSS 2017 included 5 keynote speaker presentations and 118 oral and 116 poster presentations. 281 delegates joined the meeting. We were pleased to present 3 best paper awards to 4 winning poster presentations (joint winners were announced for the 2nd best poster award).
