Our vision
The Responsible AI in Healthcare Advisory Board is an expert body established to guide the development, dissemination, and ethical implementation of AI in healthcare. Comprising leaders from the healthcare industry, the board aims to promote Elsevier's principles of responsible AI, which include transparency, fairness, and patient-centric innovation, within the Indian healthcare system. Drawing on deep expertise from across the healthcare industry, the board plays an active role in strengthening India’s capability to adopt AI responsibly; supporting a future where innovation benefits patients, clinicians, and health systems alike.

Since its inception in December 2024, the board has been contributing through structured and ongoing initiatives, including:
