Professor He is the Co-editor-in-chief of Desalination and Executive Editor of Desalination and Water Treatment. He has 30 years of experience researching in novel membranes for ion separation, organic removal and acid purification since his graduate study. His career started from X-Flow/Norit BV, and later Aquasource/Degremont SA as the technical director. He is a part-time professor at ShanghaiTech University. Professor He has been awarded more than 30 research projects of total 44M RMB. He has authored more than 100 papers with an H-index of 53 (Google Scholar). He was the awardee of “Newton Advanced Fellowship" from Royal Society.
