Senjuti Saha

Dr Senjuti Saha is Deputy Executive Director of the Child Health Research Foundation, Bangladesh, directing research on pediatric infectious diseases. After earning a PhD in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto and post‑doctoral fellowships at SickKids and Stanford, she returned in 2016 to establish a state‑of‑the‑art genomics centre. Her programme conducts genomic surveillance, maps antimicrobial resistance, tracks endemic viruses, discovers novel viruses. Dr . Saha advises several WHO committees, publishes widely, serves on editorial boards, and has received international honours.
