Qing Dai

Qing Dai is Professor and Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on polaritons in van der Waals materials for controlling infrared light at the atomic scale, and ultrafast field-emission electron sources based on carbon nanotubes. He is a Fellow of Optica and a recipient of the ICO Prize (2024) and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Prize (2022).
