Jun Wang is a professor at South China University of Technology. He is the recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Distinguished Young Scholar Fund and serves as the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program of China. Professor Wang has been actively involved in teaching and research in biomedical materials and nanomedicine for many years, publishing over 250 peer-reviewed scientific papers in prestigious journals, including Nat. Nanotechnol., Nat. Biomed. Eng., and Sci. Transl. Med.. In 2016, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Currently, he serves as Associate Editor of Biomaterials. He is an awardee of the Second Class of National Natural Science Award of China, and the First Prize of Natural Science of Guangdong Province.
