Chwee Teck (C.T.) Lim

Professor Lim Chwee Teck is the NUSS Chair Professor and Director of the Institute for Health Innovation and Technology at the National University of Singapore. Professor Lim is renowned for his pioneering work in human disease mechanobiology as well as development of innovative microfluidic and wearable technologies for healthcare applications. Professor Lim has published over 520 peer-reviewed journal articles and delivered more than 550 plenary/keynote/invited lectures worldwide. As a serial entrepreneur, he has co-founded six startups, one of which successfully achieved an IPO in 2018. Professor Lim’s team has been recognised with over 100 prestigious awards and honours, including the President’s Science Award, President’s Technology Award, Nature Lifetime Achievement Award for Mentoring in Science, Asia’s Most Influential Scientist Award and Wall Street Journal Asian Innovation Award. He is elected Fellow of 11 academies worldwide, including the National Academy of Engineering (US), Royal Society (UK), Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), National Academy of Inventors (US), IAMBE, AIMBE, Singapore National Academy of Science and Academy of Engineering, SIngapore.
