Andrea Vieira

Andrea Vieira is an executive with over 15 years of experience in strategy, planning, and governance of science, technology, and innovation. She currently serves as General Coordinator of the CAPES Journals Portal, Brazil’s national system for access to scientific and technological information. Andrea has held senior leadership positions at CAPES and the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), with strong experience in international cooperation, evaluation of large-scale R&D programs, and evidence-based policy design. She holds a PhD in Science Education, a Master’s degree in International Cooperation, and a background in Economics.
