Haoyong Lan

Haoyong Lan is the engineering faculty librarian at Carnegie Mellon University, where he provides library instruction, research assistance, data support, and collection development to the students, faculty, and staff. He received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include explainable artificial intelligence, engineering research competency, scientometrics, digital library, and information retrieval.
