Thomas Osdoba is a Senior Advisor with EIT Climate-KIC and the Programme Director for Net-ZeroCities, leading the implementation of the European Commission’s mission to support 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030. He brings an exemplary history of leadership and innovation, spanning the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. He has served as a policy expert, leading practitioner of sustainable development projects and programmes, thought leader and innovator in urban sustainability and economic development, and creative entrepreneur at the forefront of social enterprise and sustainable finance.

His work has been a catalyst for transformative projects and programmes, from the creation of clean energy systems and adaptive project financing platforms and strategies to top-ranked sustainability programmes and policies. His expertise in sustainability, community and economic development, climate change mitigation and resilience, impact investing, and social enterprise development offers a unique perspective to any organisation seeking strategic advice. Thomas combines systems thinking and creativity in the service of future-oriented endeavours. He has cocreated multiple social enterprises, including EcoDistricts, New Energy Cities, and Clean Energy Works.
