Qiangbin Wang

Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

Dr. Wang received his PhD degree of Materials Science at East China University of Science and Technology in 2002. After his postdoc research at Arizona State University, he joined Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics (SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008 as a Principal Investigator. Dr. Wang's main research interest focuses on quantum dots (QDs) with fluorescence emission in the second near-infrared window (NIR-II) and in vivo biomedical imaging. He discovered a new type of NIR-II-emissive Ag2S QDs, developed a series of NIR-II imaging instruments, and executed NIR-II imaging-guided biomedical researches in cancer theranostics and stem cell-based regenerative medicine.
