Jerome Sallet

Jerome Sallet is a tenured principal investigator at the French National Institute for Health and Medical research (INSERM) in Lyon, France.

After a PhD in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology at the University of Lyon, he joined the University of Oxford in 2008 to develop magnetic resonance imaging in non-human primates. Between 2015 and 2020, he lead a research lab at the University of Oxford where he developed notably transcranial ultrasound neurostimulation.

In 2020, he joined INSERM and the Neurobiology of Executive Function team at Brain Cell and Brain Research Institute to continue a multidisciplinary research program investigating the structure and function of neuronal circuits supporting adaptive behaviors.
