Talk Title: The influence of cultivated cardoon and globe artichoke ethanolic leaf extracts on the shelf life of poultry meat
Fernanda Vilarinho, Senior Health Technician, laboratory branch (INSA – Lisbon), graduated in Technological Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in 1996, obtained a master's degree in "Food Science and Engineering" in 2007 from the University of Lisbon, and obtained a PhD in Materials Engineering in July 2020 at the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon.
Her main scientific research areas are Chemical Analysis of Food, Analytical Quality and Contaminants of Food, and Innovation and Safety of food packaging. She has experience in determining the uncertainties of analytical methods. She is responsible for carrying out all determinations of Global and Specific Migration of plastic materials in contact with food at the National Institute of Health Doctor Ricardo Jorge.
