Tohoku University, Japan

Dr. Linda Zhang is an Assistant Professor at the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIS) and the Advanced Institute for Materials Research (WPI-AIMR), Tohoku University, Japan. She conducted her doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems under Dr. Michael Hirscher and received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Her research focuses on the separation of hydrogen isotopes and cryogenic gases using nanoporous solid adsorbents, combining low-temperature adsorption measurements with neutron scattering and structural characterization to understand quantum sieving and molecular behaviour under nanoconfinement.
