Keita Takaesu is an Assistant Chief Engineer at the Materials Research Center of Honda R&D Co., Ltd. Currently, he serves as the project leader for advanced power semiconductor materials research, focusing primarily on research into the application of diamond in power devices. He has a master's degree of science and technology, Keio University, Japan. Through its portfolio of mobility products, Honda aims to significantly reduce overall electricity consumption across society. As a core technology targeting improved efficiency and higher power in electric vehicles (EVs) and applications in harsh environments, Honda is conducting research into advanced power semiconductor materials.
