Dr Simon Barrett is Director of the Office of Research Ethics and Integrity at Monash University. With 30 years at Monash, including 18 in research administration, he brings both research and business expertise to support the university’s research success. As part of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research)’s Senior Leadership Team, he helps shape strategic direction. Simon was instrumental in implementing Pure as business process owner and continues to work closely with eSolutions and research administration to maintain data quality and promote research visibility. His leadership reflects a deep, hands-on commitment to strengthening Monash’s research capabilities and advancing institutional excellence.
