Dr. Mohd Rizal Bin Salleh

Dr. Mohd Rizal Bin Salleh is currently the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), appointed in October 2025. He is a seasoned academic leader with over 15 years of experience in faculty administration and expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, particularly Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. Began academic career at UTeM in April 2002 as a lecturer. Served as Dean of Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and later Dean of the Graduate School for more than 15 years (2009–2025). Instrumental in expanding UTeM’s academic programs, research innovation, and international collaborations. Advocated for student and staff mobility programs, strengthening UTeM’s global partnerships. Recognized for his strategic leadership in advancing UTeM’s reputation in engineering education.
