Deqing Zhang
Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China
Prof. Deqing Zhang from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) graduated from the Chemistry Department of Beijing Normal University in 1987, and obtained his Master and Doctoral degrees from ICCAS and Max-Planck Institute for Medical Research/Heidelberg University in 1990 and 1996, respectively. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of new conjugated molecules and polymers for high-performance organic and polymeric optoelectronic materials and devices. He also shows interests in tuning the interchain interactions and packing and aggregate structures via different strategies to improve the charge transport and mechanically stretchable properties of polymer semiconductors. Currently, he serves editorial advisory board or international advisory board members of a few scientific journals including Acc. Chem. Res., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Sci., Aggregate, ACS ABM.
