New Publishing Partnership

Elsevier has been chosen by the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) to publish its premier journal, the Journal of Interactive Marketing, beginning January 2009.

By partnering with Elsevier, the DMEF, which is based in New York City, strengthens its mission to attract, educate, and place new direct/interactive marketing talent.

As the marketing world changes dramatically to meet the diverse needs brought on with the emergence of the Internet, I am particularly thrilled to be working with Elsevier as we look to build on the great success of the Journal,” said DMEF President Terri L. Bartlett.  “We recently learned that JIM’s impact factor is 1.457 based on the most recent ratings (2006) included in the Social Science edition of the ThomsonScientific Journal Citation Reports©.  This great achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of our co-editors and the Editorial Review Board.  With Elsevier as our partner, we are looking forward to building on this success by broadening our reach throughout the global academic community as well as to other institutions and organizations worldwide, both in print and online.”
