Description
Published 12 times a year, Revista Española de Cardiología, the official publication
of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles related to cardiovascular diseases.
Articles are published in Spanish for the paper edition and in both Spanish and English in the electronic edition, which is available
in the Internet. Regular sections include original articles reporting clinical or basic research, short communications, review articles,
editorials and letters to the Editor. Moreover clinical reviews, updates, editorial comments and letters are regular features. Topics
covered include coronary artery and valve disease, drug treatment and new diagnostics techniques. Revista Española de Cardiología
also publishes the Spanish translation of the European Society of Cardiology Guidelines as the result of specific agreement with this
Society. Currently the journal holds the lead of scientific impact among all the scientific biomedical journals published in Spanish
language. Both a Spanish and an English version are available from the electronic editions which are free (full text) and readily
