system and provides a comprehensive coverage of anatomy and physiology of the entire auditory system. The book introduces the role of
neural plasticity in the symptoms of disorders such as tinnitus, hyperacusis and phonophobia. A separate chapter discusses cochlear and
auditory brainstem implants.
