Description
Mycological Research is the international research journal of the The British Mycological Society. It publishes original contributions in all fields of basic and applied research involving fungi (including mushrooms, lichen fungi, oomycetes, slime moulds, and yeasts). These include biocontrol, biodeterioration, cell and developmental biology, ecology, extrolites (secondary metabolites), fungal physiology, genetics, genomics, insect pathology, molecular and traditional systematics, medical mycology, mycorrhizas, plant pathology, preservation and culture methods, and ultrastructure. Topical review articles, News items, and Book reviews are also considered. Priority is given to contributions likely to be of interest to a wide international audience.
