Description
This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers both surgical and non-surgical aspects of
cardiovascular disease and includes cardiovascular aspects of hypertension. The chapter structure includes general aspects of diagnosis,
treatment and epidemiology and prevention as well as an etiopathological breakdown of the diseases.
• Detailed author and keyword
indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
