NEUROLOGY AND NEUROSURGERY (SECTION 8 EMBASE)
Neurology and Neurosurgery (Section 8 EMBASE)Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal

Description

This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-

• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.

• The arrangement, within each journal issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers clinical neurology and neurosurgery, including epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders. Non-clinical articles on neurophysiological principles and animal models for human neuropharmacology are also covered, but animal studies without relevance to human neuropathology are not. The chapter breakdown is essentially by disease type, although there are general chapters on neuroscience, diagnosis and treatment.

• Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate articles of special interest.
