Description
Comparative Immunology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases has an Impact Factor of 0.810 in the Veterinary Sciences Category.
(© 2008 Journal Citation Reports, published by Thomson Reuters)
There is a tendency for physicians
and veterinarians interested in Immunology, Immunopathology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases to publish in specialist journals on
human or animal medicine. Consequently they are often unaware of each others problems. Yet is widely recognized that interdisciplinary
cooperation between specialists in human and animal medicine is of interest and benefit to each.
Comparative Immunology, Microbiology & Infectious Diseases fills the gap between these two branches of medicine and enables fruitful dialogues to take place.
The
journal is open to subjects of common interest related to Immunology and Immunopharmacology, Microbiology and human and animal Infectious
Diseases.
The subject-matter is not restricted entirely to Comparative medicine, but every article will contribute further knowledge
in fields of common interest to specialists in either branch of medicine.
