Prior to joining Elsevier, Rosi worked for seven years in the airline
industry, last position was Flight Attendant. As for most of us, September
11, 2002 had a big impact on Rosi’s life. She realized that the most
important things in her life were her family and friends, so she made the
decision to change careers.
And what a lucky day for Elsevier that was!
Her colleagues have voted her “The Elsevier Cheerleader” and when you meet her
you can see why she has earned this title. She believes that it was destiny
that brought her to Elsevier. Through a friend and employee of the
organization, Rosi was introduced and took on a temporary position as an
Executive Assistant. She left after the end of her assignment but as destiny
would have it, she returned to the same position but this time as a permanent
employee.
When asked “What do you like about working at Elsevier?” without hesitation
she replies, “I am truly blessed with the greatest boss, colleagues that are
willing to help with anything, a good balance between work and life and
working in the city, what else could ask for.”
To Rosi a winning culture is about “Teamwork” where everyone is working
together, everyone giving 100% towards the common goal. In her opinion, “You
can’t be successful without!”
