When Glenys finished her studies at the University of Melbourne she decided to see some of the world.  She found herself in Edinburgh and a career at Elsevier beckoned. Glenys joined Elsevier as an Editorial Assistant but was quickly promoted to a Project Manager for Health Science books and hasn’t looked back since.

Glenys particularly enjoys the communication side of her role and the diverse group of people that she gets to work with, that coupled with the satisfaction in transforming a manuscript into a finished product and being able to hold a book at the end of the process provides Glenys with her focus.

All in all Glenys enjoys the working environment of the Edinburgh office, which she finds the friendly and down to earth, this amidst the backdrop of a huge global company provides a good balanced working environment.
