PEOPLE YOU WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH

Name: Fran
Function: Manager of Account Services, Institutional Electronic Sales
Favorite Food: Mexican, accompanied by a good Margarita
Hobbies: Gardening and Antique Shopping

Fran joined Mosby seven and one-half years ago (April 1996) to work on MD Consult and has remained with the product ever since.

Fran originally came to MD Consult by responding to an ad for a position within the Sales & Marketing group but as fate may have it, ended up with an offer in the editorial group, which in her opinion was “The best move I ever made” and has never looked back.

As the MD Consult began to develop from concept to an actual product, Fran’s career grew right along with it.  Her career path progressed from an Administrative Assistant role in the editorial group to where she is today, Manager of Account Services within Institutional Electronic Sales.  In her current role, Fran manages six Sales Associates that support the Regional Account Managers in a post-sales capacity.  When asked what is a day like, she replies, “Busy with attending meetings and working with the Sales Associates on ways to better support our customers.”    What she most enjoys about her job is the variety, “everyday is something different…. every customer (internal and external) has a different need.”

Fran feels lucky to have been with the MD Consult product from the beginning.  She has watched it grow from the ground up and has the same ambition for her on career.

When asked, “What makes a winning culture? Fran replied, a winning culture is cooperation between all of the people that work around you.
