Overview

Elsevier Marketing Manager David Turney interviews Library Marketing Intern Risa Blumlein for a podcast about what she learned during her time with Elsevier.

Elsevier's global Library Connect LIS Outreach Program offers complimentary resources to support LIS faculty, staff and students.

What's available through this program? Free Library Connect publications; a library marketing internship with Elsevier in San Diego, California; international librarian residencies; and Elsevier experts who can speak to LIS classes.

Recent library marketing intern Jessica Meindertsma worked in the summer of 2009 developing Library Connect's social media on External link  Facebook and External link  Twitter. Fall 2009 intern Amber Toland recorded External link  podcasts about library lobbying and TrainingDesk in addition to editing and developing content for Web pages like this one. Both were MLIS students at San Jose State University during their internships in Elsevier's San Diego office.
