CARBOHYDRATE RESEARCH AWARD FOR CREATIVITY IN CARBOHYDRATE CHEMISTRY

The Carbohydrate Research Award for Creativity in Carbohydrate Chemistry was established in 2001 by the Editors and the Publisher of Carbohydrate Research.

The Carbohydrate Research Award consists of a cheque for US$1,000, a certificate and a complimentary two-year subscription to Carbohydrate Research. The Award is presented biannually to a carbohydrate scientist who has made significant original contributions to the field, in its broadest sense. The winner is invited to present a lecture on their work at an international conference, and to publish a paper based on their research in Carbohydrate Research.

The recipient of the Award is chosen by the Editorial Board of Carbohydrate Research (excluding those board members eligible for the award) which reserves the right not to make a recommendation in any given year.

Apart from the reservations made above, there are no restrictions of nationality or location for the Carbohydrate Research Award.

For further information on the Carbohydrate Research Award, please contact the Elsevier Publishing Editor Iain Craig (i.craig@elsevier.com).
