Dr. Ruud Weijermars is a senior practitioner at Alboran Energy Strategy Consultants, specializing in independent strategy analysis and training. He is also affiliated to Delft University of Technology, where his research focus is on the gas value chain, petroleum economics and technology.

Dr. Olivier Bahn is an Associate Professor in the Management Science Department of HEC Montréal (Canada) and the co-director of the Group for Research in Decision Analysis (GERAD) Energy/Environment Team (E2G). His research interests are in energy and environmental modelling.

Prof. P. Capros is a Professor of Energy Economics and Operation Research at the National Technical University of Athens. He has widely published and conducted research programmes in the areas of Energy Modelling, Macroeconomics, Operations Research and Mathematical Programming.

Dr. Subir Ranjan Das is a Professor with the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. Dr. Das holds a PhD in Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering besides a post graduate qualification in Management. He has spent 25 years in Education Operations and Management in the IT industry and 10 years in Academics as Professor. His areas of interest and research are Competitive Intelligence, Technology Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence and Knowledge Management.

Henrik Lund is Professor of Energy Planning at Aalborg University and Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier International journal ENERGY. He was head of department from 1996 to 2002 and holds a PhD in Implementation of Sustainable Energy Systems (1990) and a Senior Doctoral degree in Choice Awareness and Renewable Energy Systems (2009). For more than 25 years, his area of expertise has been energy system analysis, energy planning and energy economics. Henrik Lund is the author of the book "Renewable Energy Systems the choice and Modeling of 100% Renewable Solutions" (www.elsevierdirect.com) and the architect behind the energy system analysis model EnergyPLAN (www.EnergyPLAN.eu).

N. Nakicenovic, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Laxenburg, Austria
Nebojsa Nakicenovic is Deputy Director, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis and Professor of Energy Economics, Vienna University of Technology.

Nakicenovic holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Princeton University and the University of Vienna, where he also completed his Ph.D. He also holds Honoris Causa Ph.D. in engineering from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Among other positions, he is Director of the Global Energy Assessment, member of the United Nations Secretary General Advisory Group on Energy and Climate Change, Member of the Advisory Council of the German Government on Global Change and on the editorial board of six scientific journals.

H.H. Rogner, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna, Austria
Dr. H-Holger Rogner received a MSc in industrial engineering (1975) and a PhD in energy economics (1981). He started his career at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg, Austria concentrating on global energy system modeling, energy resource and technology assessments. From 1990-1997 he directed the System Analysis Group's work at the Institute for Integrated Energy Systems, University of Victoria, Canada on hydrogen energy systems. He joined the IAEA in 1997as Section Head, Planning and Economic Studies Section leading work on comparative assessments of different energy demand and supply options, nuclear energy, climate change and sustainable development.

P.G. Taylor, University of Leeds, Leeds, UK
Dr. Peter Taylor holds a Chair in Sustainable Energy Systems in the Centre for Integrated Energy Research at the University of Leeds and is also an Associate of the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy. His research combines science, technology, economics and policy to enhance the understanding of, and policy responses to, the challenges of accelerating the transition to sustainable low-carbon energy systems. Prior to joining the University of Leeds in September 2011, Peter was Head of the Energy Technology Policy Division at the International Energy Agency in Paris and, previous to that, Technical Director of Future Energy Solutions (a business of AEA Technology plc), a large UK energy and environmental consultancy. Peter graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Physics, Applied Physics and Electronics, and subsequently gained both an MSc in Environmental Technology and a PhD in Energy Policy from Imperial College London.

Y.-M. Wei, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China
Dr. Yi-Ming Wei is a Professor and Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He is the Founding Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at BIT.

Prior to working at the BIT, Dr. Wei was a Professor and the Deputy Director-General of the CAS Institute of Policy and Management from October 2000 to December 2008. He was the founding director of IPM-CAS and RIET-CNPC Joint Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research.

Prof.Wei's recent research and teaching focus on Energy Policy and Energy Economics, CO2 Reduction and Climate Policy, Comprehensive Analysis of Sustainable Development issues in China, Disaster Risk Assessment and Management, Complex System Analysis and Modeling. He has carried out over 40 research projects, published 12 books and over 200 papers in widely peer review Journals. He also served as the editorial member of several journals.
