J. L. Gozzani MD
Dr Gozzani was a Professor in the Anesthesiology Department at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Federal University of
São Paulo), during 25 years. Dr Gozzani holds a Master (1978) degree in Molecular Biology and PhD degree in Medicine (Anesthesiology)
(1988) by the Universidade Federal de São Paulo.
Dr Gozzani has worked with Pain Medicine since 1982, when she founded the
Pain Clinic at the Universidade Federal de S?o Paulo. Currently, Dr Gozzani is the Pain Clinic Director of the Santa Casa de Miseric?rdia
de São Paulo and Faculdade de Medicina da Santa Casa de Miseric?rdia de São Paulo.
She has been a member of the Brazilian
Anesthesiology Society since 1974 and has held a number of leadership positions within this Society, such as: Teaching and Training Board
Committee member, member of the Specialist's Title Board, Member of the Pain Task Force Committee, Member of the Editorial Council of
the Brazilian Journal of Anesthesiology during 8 years, Co-Editor during 6 years and Editor in Chief since 2004 to date. |
