J. Regan Thomas, M.D., FACS, is the Lederer Professor and Department Head, of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck
Surgery. He is a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and facelift
in addition to multiple other cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures of the face, head, and neck.
Dr. Thomas is an internationally
recognized facial plastic surgeon and is a frequent speaker and teacher at medical meetings, courses, and conferences. He has authored
over 100 scientific papers and publications including 3 textbooks on facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Thomas is the past president of
the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery, and now serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Thomas graduated
from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed internship at Yale University Medical Center, and a residency in Otolaryngology
- Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive
surgery under the direction of M. Eugene Tardy, M.D. and is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American
Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Thomas has been named to "The Best Doctors in America" in his specialty
and has received numerous awards from academic institutions and professional societies. |
