Surveys in Operations Research and Managment Science (SORMS)
Since their inception
some sixty years ago, operations research and
management science have established themselves as mature research
disciplines. As new application
areas of OR/MS continue to emerge, research topics continue to change face and shape, leading to new topics as well as new approaches
to established topics. Finding a way through the exponentially increasing literature and keeping up to date has become time consuming.
To address this issue, SORMS will publish state-of-the-art surveys in OR/MS. These surveys will enable educators, researchers
and students to obtain an overview of subjects of current interest as well as important recent developments in established areas. Specifically, SORMS aims to publish survey papers in the following OR/MS subdisciplines:
• approximation and heuristics
•
computing and information technologies
• continuous optimization
• discrete and integer optimization
• environment,
energy, natural resources
• financial engineering
• game theory
• graphs and networks
• inventory
theory
• linear optimization
• machine learning
• manufacturing
• marketing
• queueing and
stochastic networks
• policy modeling and public sector OR
• revenue management
• simulation
• stochastic
optimization
• supply chains and logistics
• telecommunication and networking
