Earth Science Frontiers (ESF), founded in 1994, is presently a bi-monthly journal in Chinese with English abstracts for most
papers; a few articles are published entirely in English. It is a medium for the publication of original and forefront research and high
quality reviews covering recent advances in all fields of Earth Sciences. It is a dominating topic journal, each issue is devoted to
a single topic and edited by an authority in that field.
Each year, from 2007 onwards, issues of ESF will be developed along three
themes?(1) Earth Materials for Nos. 1 and 2?(2) Earth Tectonics and Dynamics for Nos. 3 and 4?and (3) Earth Surface Processes for Nos.
5 and 6. Manuscripts dealing with these themes are welcomed.
The journal has been indexed or abstracted by Abstracts Journal?Russian?,Chemical
Abstract, Zoological Record, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts ,GeoRef and so on.
