China PARTICUOLOGY, a bimonthly in English, is jointly sponsored by Chinese Society of Particuology and Institute of Process
Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and published by Elsevier B. V. and Science Press. Although the journal is China-based, it
serves as a medium for all accepted papers of international origin, in addition to the best papers representing current advances in China.
The word PARTICUOLOGY was coined to parallel the Chinese professional title for the science and technology of particles,  ,
which covers all related branches of the physical sciences including mathematics and spans a range of industries to include chemical,
petrochemical, agricultural, food, pharmaceuticals, mineral processing, advanced materials, energy, and the environment.
This journal
purports to present the best papers in research, engineering and application in the overall field of particuology, including particle
characterization, particle preparation, aerosol, fluidization and ultra-fine particles, and ranging from the molecular level to the systems
level. The Editors particularly welcome contributions on newly emerging topics that fall within the broad scope of particuology.
Core topics are: aerosol science and technology, colloids, nanotechnology, crystallization and precipitation, multiphase flow, fluidization
technology, bulk solids technology, material science and engineering, pharmaceutical and bio- and medical technology, soft matter physics,
food, vitamins, healthcare and personal-care products, food, coatings, ceramics, emulsions, filled functional polymers, minerals, pigments,
printable pastes, sensors and catalysts, modeling and simulation of particle systems.
