Guide for Authors

General: The Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics is a joint publication of Chinese Society of Astronautics, Systems Engineering Society of China and Chinese Association for System Simulation. It appears four times a year in English. The EDITORIAL BOARD strives to publish well-written papers that present important research results within the JOURNAL SCOPE, which includes system analysis, system modeling and simulation, military system analysis, vehicle control, C3I, radar, information systems engineering, pattern analysis, machine intelligence, artificial neural networks, information acquisition and processing, and topics in all related fields. Readers are encouraged to submit manuscripts which disclose significant technical achievements, indicate exploratory developments, or present significant application for scientific and technological frontiers. Manuscripts should be submitted by E-mail named 'New Manuscript' in Word type. All papers are subject to refereeing. Papers should be original and must not have been submitted simultaneously to any other journal. Submitted manuscripts, whether or not they are accepted, will not be returned unless otherwise informed.

Manuscript: The manuscript must be written clearly. It should consist of the title, affiliation and address of author(s), abstract, 3-5 keywords, main text, references, tables and figures with captions. A short biography (5-10 lines) of each author should be submitted as well.

Abstract: An abstract of not more than 200 words is required. It should contain not only a description of the subject and scope of coverage but also, in the case of research-oriented papers, major results and conclusion.

Indexed by China Astronautics and Missilery Abstracts (CAMA), China Scientific and Technical Periodical Abstracts (CSTA), the British Science Abstract (SA), the Cambridge Science Abstract (CSA), and the Engineering Index (EI).
