The Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, a peer-reviewed publication of Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, was established in 1985 to promote clinical and scientific research in the medical sciences in Taiwan, and to disseminate this research to the international community of medical and health care professionals. It is published monthly by Elsevier (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
