Description
Tsinghua Science and Technology, an English language journal, sponsored by Tsinghua University, was established in 1996. As of
June, 2001, the Journal has issued 6 volumes having 22 issues. From 2005, Elsevier is hosting the Journal on ScienceDirect.
The
Journal mainly publishes research articles that reflect the latest achievements in basic theory and experimental studies in various engineering
fields and in applied mathematics, biological science and biotechnology, chemistry, and physics. The articles include reviews, research
papers, communications, etc., written by professors at Tsinghua University and other Chinese universities, academicians of the Chinese
Academy of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and famous scientists from several different countries, such as Chen Ning
Yang (Nobel Prize winner, USA), Leo Esaki (Nobel Prize winner, Japan).
Tsinghua Science and Technology is currently indexed
by Chemical Abstracts (CA, USA), Japanese Science and Technology (JST, Japan), IEEINSPEC, P* (Russia), Science Abstracts (SA, the United
Kingdom), Mathematical Reviews (USA), Applied Mechanics Reviews (AMR, USA) and other indexing organizations.
The journal has an
excellent editorial committee including many famous professors and scientists (Eight members are academicians of the Chinese Academy
of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering) who guarantee the journal's excellent quality. In addition, an American expert is
also on the editorial committee for English language editing of the accepted manuscripts.
