New World Patent Information PIUG Wiki Pages
World Patent Information journal now has its own pages on the wiki of the Patent Information Users Group (PIUG), an international association of professionals in patent documentation. The recently set up wiki is not restricted to members of the association but is a major resource and information channel for a wide spectrum of people involved in patents. World Patent Information for its part is the key peer-reviewed journal for this group. The Journal pages on the wiki aim to be a simple access point for potential and actual readers and authors and to give news of items in the journal. Wiki's have become well known through the rapid growth of Wikipedia but they are increasingly used as a business tools and it is hoped that this example will prove fruitful for this professional community.
