Cell Biology International is the official publication of the International Federation for Cell Biology. Each month, the
journal publishes easy-to-assimilate, up-to-the-minute reports of experimental findings by researchers using a wide range of the latest
techniques. Promoting the aims of cell biologists world-wide, papers relating to structure and function - especially where the findings
are seen in a whole cell (physiological) context - are very welcome. In covering all areas of the cell, the journal is both appealing
and accessible to a broad audience.
The Journal Features:
• Original papers: articles relating to all aspects of animal
and plant cell biology
• Short communications: brief and rapidly published papers making a specific well-documented point
• Mini-reviews: usually invited contributors providing state-of-the-art overviews of hot topics and developments
•
Commentaries: a forum for discussion of statistical analysis, theory, methodology and terminology for critiques of recent papers, usually
by invited contributors
• Reports and abstracts of cell biology meetings
• Book reviews
• Hypotheses and
letters to the editor
• Special issues: published from time to time and featuring a guest editor
