This journal aims to provide its readers with
a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope
and structure of the journal, key features of which
are:
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic
data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international
biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each issue, of
abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal
covers both clinical and experimental aspects of arthritis,
rheumatism,
bone and joint pathology, and includes spine disorders, connective tissue
disorders and rheumatic fever. Items concerning
bone cancer and
skeletal dysplasia are excluded as they are covered in Section 33:
Orthopedic Surgery and in Section 16: Cancer.
•
Detailed author
and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special
interest.
