Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal
Description
This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers both clinical and experimental aspects of
human genetics and includes genetics of lower animals when potentially relevant to human medicine, congenital defects and malformations,
and basic genetics such as DNA synthesis, gene structure and regulation, genetic recombination and mutagenesis. Plant and microbial genetics
are excluded from the coverage.
• Detailed author and keyword indexes to enable the reader to locate items of special interest.
