This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and
structure of the journal, key features of which are:
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data)
from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each issue, of abstracts
into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers both experimental and clinical aspects of embryology and fetal/neonatal
development. Both normal and pathological development are included, as are maternal-fetal interactions. A chapter is devoted to molecular
biological aspects. Coverage of the aging process is handled in section 20: Gerontology and Geriatrics.
• Detailed author and
keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
