Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal
Description
This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers all clinical aspects of aging and experimental
work on the aging process. Mental and emotional problems in the elderly and social and organisational aspects of health care for the
aged are also included. Articles which do not discuss specific geriatric problems are excluded. The chapter structure is basically that
of the organ systems with additional chapters on diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and general diseases.
• Detailed author
and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
