This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and
structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data)
from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each issue, of abstracts
into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers all aspects (both surgical and non-surgical) of eye disease and
vision disorders and includes articles on the anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the eye, orbit and visual system. Non-mammalian
vision is not covered in this journal.
• Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
