This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and
structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data)
from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each journal issue, of abstracts
into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers all aspects of development and organic disease in neonates, children
and adolescents, including surgery. It does not cover prenatal diagnosis, fetal monitoring, child psychiatry or animal studies. The chapter
breakdown is by disease type, development stage or by organ system, although there are chapters on diagnosis, treatment and prevention
and social pediatrics.
• Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
