The Journal of Organometallic Chemistry has a long-standing tradition for publishing original papers dealing with theoretical
aspects, structural chemistry, synthesis, physical and chemical properties including reaction mechanisms, and practical applications
of organometallic compounds.
Because of the growing importance of organometallic complexes in bioorganometallic chemistry and material
sciences, on one hand, and of heavier main group elements in organometallic chemistry, on the other hand, the scope of the Journal has
been enlarged, and work covering these fields is also considered.
Besides original papers, the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry
publishes review articles communications and notes.
