The journal features fluid mechanics, hydraulics of closed and open systems, operations and utilities, coastal
engineering, ports and harbours, offshore engineering [surface and subsea installations, well technology and pipelines] the atmosphere
and aerodynamics, wind energy, water distribution and treatment. Each issue includes a full subject index. Annual cumulative subject
and author indexes are produced for each volume.
The movement and control of fluids and their effects are of extreme importance in
numerous civil engineering disciplines. These range from the hydraulics of open, natural environments to the closed hydraulic systems
of water supply and treatment and power industries, and to non–aeronautical industrial aerodynamics. This abstract journal has
been designed to cater for both current awareness and retrospective literature researching requirements of workers in the full range
of civil engineering disciplines. A specific aim of this journal is to provide librarians and information scientists, as well as researchers
with guidance towards further research information. Its format allows rapid scanning and each entry is classified with full bibliographic
details.
Each monthly issue covers all aspects of fluid applications in engineering which are of interest to civil engineers. Material
is selected from over 500 publications.
